Mulatto In My Car

Hello World!!
After returning from the gym last night, I decided I wanted to make a video. Three hours later my computer crashed. The hard lesson learned was nothing is safe unless you SAVE. SAVE. SAVE.
This being said, I took the first half which was the best because it featured two members of a band called Mulatto.
It is here now for you to view as many times as you'd like.
For more information on this band, visit:

Take The Victory-- It's Yours!!

We don't become victors by conquering the enemy. We become victors through surrendering to Christ. We don't become victors by our independence from the enemy. We become victors by our dependence on God. The road to freedom is a paradox. To experience victory and freedom, we need to become captives. We need to develop minds captive to Christ. In this life, we are most free when our minds are most captivated by Him. Victorious lives flow from victorious thoughts. And thinking victorious thoughts comes from setting our focus on a victorious God.

"The Lord your God is the One who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory." -Dueteronomy 20:4

Encourage One Another Daily...

"What has never come into a man's heart is what God has prepared for those who love Him."
- 1 Corinthians 2:9

Are you experiencing the benefits of your covenant relationship with God through Christ, or do the benefits you read about in Scripture seem more like warm, fuzzy thoughts? God has graciously extended these five benefits to us:

1) To know God and believe Him
2) To glorify God
3) To find satisfaction in God
4) To experience God's peace
5) To enjoy God's presence

These five benefits will serve as a road map to lead you home any time you've been carried away captive.

"How happy you are, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord?"
- Deuteronomy 33:29

I fear we may have become so legalistic in many of our Christian circles that we've dropped the word happy from our "religious" vocabulary. But sometimes God just plain makes me HAPPY! Call me immature, but picture me smiling.

Sure, I know that people are starving on the other side of the world. I'm deeply concerned for hurting people, and I pray for other nations every single day. But I also enjoy a happy moment in Jesus when it comes. Happiness is inappropriate when it's our goal, but not when it's God's momentary gift to us. Open it. Enjoy it. And remember it when times get tough.

God has somehow placed into the Christian's insides a special something, that extra inner reservoir of power that is more than a match for the stuff life throws at us. When in operation, phenomenal accomplishments are achieved, sometimes even miraculous.

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
- Philippians 4:13

I firmly believe that an individual is never more Christ-like than when full of compassion for those who are down, needy, discouraged, or forgotten. How terribly essential is our commitment to encouragement!

"Encourage on another daily, as long as it is called Today."
- Hebrews 3:13

Listening (Warning Of The Weeds)

Listening
I’m doing my best to listen. I’m partially distracted by the musical events that seem to always take place in my head. Listening. I’m still attempting to listen. I wish that you could take a vacation and visit the creative parts of my mind. I wish you could hear what I hear. I wonder what you’d think.
Today has been a day of mass destruction in my heart. Listening. I’m over listening to the excuses of those that don’t truly care. It makes me wish they’d never been there at all. Listening to my heart now. I think it’s time to let go. Broken. Bitter. Not I. Not today. I don’t have the time. Listening. Maybe listening is the best thing I can possibly do for myself at this point. If I better myself by listening, it can only have a positive effect on those around me.
Positivity is needed. Simplicity is key.
Friends are needed, but there are few to be found.
Take this as my warning of the weeds.

This is love:

This is love: that we walk according to His commands. -II John 6

How does liberty in Christ become a reality in life? Obedience! Obedience to God's Word. Rightly responding to the Word of God is our ticket on the freedom train. God's Word is the perfect law that gives freedom.

I know that sometimes we can be in too much bondage to even imagine living an obedient life. We want God to somehow wave a wand over us and magically remove every hindrance without requiring anything of us. But if God simply waved a wand over us and broke every yoke without our cooperation, we would soon pick up another. We cannot go forward without obedience.

Who Is They?

Who is it that I’m writing for? What is it exactly that I expect? Am I focused too much on the diluted morals of the world? Why is it that I care? Where do the questions come from? Are they something that I fabricate? Were the fabrications instant, or have I unknowingly been at work for a while? What is doubt? Is it hesitation, or in this instance disbelief? Why is it that we walk blinded- feeling passionate in our emotions, yet torn in our spirit? When will the evidence be clear to all mankind? I want to visibly, unmistakably recognize the difference that I have made. Have I made one or any at all? Is it narcissistic? Is it proud? Have I masked my heart with a self-centered smile? Have I confused the innocent on-lookers? Inhale. Exhale. The attestation will be. All in due time, they will know. They will know. Who is they?
